Dr. Robin Kent of Tangram Technology authored the book Sustainability Management in Plastics Processing: Strategies, Targets, Techniques, and Tools. Its goal is to help plastics producers improve their sustainability by showing them concrete ways to do so in a variety of important operational areas.
Philip Law, the BPF’s director general, called the book “must-have.” It’s one of a kind and will be the gold standard for its field for quite some time. It is the result of decades of practise in factory management and the astute application of sustainability ideas to the plastics industry. With such a broad scope, it’s no surprise that businesses in the plastics industry will return to this essential guide again and again for practical advice. To help plastics makers in their determined pursuit of sustainability, the BPF is pleased to publish and distribute it.
Kent continued, “Despite all that is published about sustainability and plastics, there is still a dearth of practical knowledge for the plastics processor who wants to improve the sustainability of their firm. The information in this book will hopefully help plastics processors become more environmentally friendly and show the world that they mean business. This demonstrates that sustainable management does not require “rocket science,” but rather, only careful planning and execution from a technical standpoint.
