Facebook will now let you turn off notification dots in its mobile app

Facebook is rolling out a great improvement to its versatile application in order to facilitate the usage of the users. You can now put down the dots that you find in the Facebook application over your phone. This will be highly applicable to help you take a better snapshot and that too without any transitions in between. Our news agency reported this grand new declaration from Facebook, while they came to this news from a Facebook spokesperson.

Our newsagents, after having the news, tried it on iOS. After several tests, we found that it is quite easy to conceal the warning spots. You need to simply tap and hang on a symbol on the top bar, where you often see the notifications. A menu will spring up and that will allow you to decide whether to expel those dots. As you do it, you will find that there will be an eye catchy red spot on the bar and nothing else.

In a similar way, you can deal the same on your android device too.  Simply go to the cheeseburger menu symbol, then go to the Settings and Privacy, choose Settings from there and finally select Shortcuts. You would get the option to conceal the annoying dots now for your Watch, Profile, and even for Groups. Our newsagents reported that the same can be done for Marketplace, Events, and Dating too.

The Facebook spokesperson confirmed to our reporter that the feature is fully available now for iOS and will soon be available for all the android devices. If you are an android user, then you might need to wait for few weeks or a month – then enjoy the same feature. This feature, according to the different iOS users, as said by our news agent, will be very much helpful for them.
